Monday! Last day of November, too!
Felt pretty darn great today!
Did NOT do a z workout since I had somebody come to visit, but I did do bd practice for 50 minutes & I worked up a sweat. It’s really cold outside!!
Ate clean–but I think I had too big of a dinner tonight (ate an extra bowl of cauliflower).
Gonna do some calla in a bit & get my clothes ironed for tomorrow.
That’s about it–just ticking off the days til goal & Xmas!! :)

 

Sunday-Day 1-R120BCP! November 29, 2009

OK, so here we go! Today starts off my Reach 120 by Christmas Plan!
Gotta own up to what I did last night–tortilla chips & queso! Yikes. Had a great shrimp cocktail w/lots of avocado, but those chips–ugh. And an Oreo. Just one. But still.
Anyway, that was the worst I’d done all TG break, so I’m not too worried.
What I am is excited! I like a good challenge & that’s what this is all about! 4 weeks to get to my “ultimate” goal.
I’m going to post a menu plan & exercise plan. Get my house in order, ya know?
I believe that I can do it!!

Cold & super sunny day today! So, I made some homemade hot wings yesterday–very good! Better than what I thought they’d taste like.
I did break down & eat a piece of sweet potato pie & munched on a few chips last night. Didn’t get too crazy, though.
Am gonna clean house & decorate the tree today. That’ll be super nice!!
We now have 3 weeks til Xmas break–wooo-hooo!! I think I can hang in there until then!! I’m sure I’ll be counting down the days.
Now that Tg & the football stuff is over with, it’s time to focus!! The goal is 120 by Christmas. I can do it!!
And when I get there, I’m determined to get a new wardrobe to celebrate–but this time I’m going to take my time, try stuff on & get things that flatter me & that I can wear to work.
I’m thinking:
Dress pants–3 pair (1 black, 2 beige)
Skirts–3 pair (red, brown & black)
Sweaters–5 (black, red, purple, fuschia)
Shirts–5 (black, pink, red, white, blue & green)
Jeans–2 pair that fit awesomely well!
Dresses–3 (little black one, blue, & purple)
Now THAT should do it! I just want everything I get to fit good. I was going to get those size 4 corduroy skirts I bought at wm taken in, but they said they couldn’t do it (6 inches was too much!!). At 120, I ought to be able to fit a 4 just fine. And if I wear stuff I like that makes me feel good, that’s more motivation to stay in shape.
Even if I don’t have the money to do it, I’ll just charge (I know that sounds bad)–but I figure I work too hard at my job & at staying fit to keep putting it off. Thrift store stuff is fine, but I could use new stuff.
OK, so the dream of rewards is over, lol! Got to just stay focused these next 3-4 weeks to make it a reality!!
ETA-awesome z & bd workout for 35 min! Sweated like a pig!

 

Black Friiiiday! November 27, 2009

It’s 12:18 a.m. & I am AWAKE! Mostly because I took a 3 hour nap this afternoon & then drank way too much tea before bed. Also, I’m leaving to go shopping at 3 a.m. Soooo, now I’m drinking coffee to keep my awakeness around. I will probably crash and burn tomorrow (today) at noon, though!!
TG was wonderful!! Ate lots of yummy LEGAL stuff!!! Deviled eggs, turkey, broc/chick casserole, 7 layer salad, green bean casserole, slaw . . . sooooo good!!
Wore a size 4 skirt I’d bought months ago for the first time.
If I can survive TG on lowcarb, I can drop these last couple of pounds. I’d rather stay on plan for a few more tough weeks and get to my goal than cave in to sweets & junk & have to restart all over again.
I think my ideal size is a size 4. I don’t have to be a 2. But a solid size 4 would make dressing a lot easier.
Weight-wise, I guess that would be around 120 pounds for me. That’s doable. Anything under that would be odd.
Today I was at 125. That’s even less than my old WW goal from 4-5 years ago. I know, will I ever be satisfied, lol?
I’ve tried to be more careful about my portion sizes lately. That’s helped a LOT!
I won’t freak out if I don’t lose anymore, though. It took me a year & a half to lose 25 pounds. Slooooow going. I’m so glad I didn’t give up, though–even though I sometimes wanted to & sometimes did go off plan for a week or so.
They say nothing tastes as good as being thin feels. I know that’s true. Some stuff tastes pretty darn good, but the feeling of slipping into your clothes and knowing they’re gonna fit is priceless to me.
ETA: Did a 25 minute z workout. Yay!

 

Tuurkey Day! November 26, 2009

Cold & sunny today! Just made some slaw & a cass to take to mom’s for TG. Slept good & feel great today!
Am gonna do a calla workout in a bit & then get myself cleaned up. Got my nails done yesterday–it’d been about a month & a week since I’d done that!!
My abs look better than they have in a long time–even since this summer! That’s what eating clean will do for you! My plan for today is to just eat legal stuff til I’m full. I can always bring some home.
I’m so glad I haven’t had those raging sweets cravings like I had the past few weeks. I don’t know what that was all about, but it was rough!!
ETA: Did bd workout for 30 min.

Slept til 8:30 & feel great!
Did a 50 min z workout & calla workout!
Weight is 126!! I’m telling you, time off is a charm for me!! My legs are having a “good” day today, lol.
Gotta go get my nails done later today. Might make some chicken broccoli bake & some green beans for tomorrow.
Steady as she goes. :)
OH & THIS TIME LAST YEAR I WAS 9 POUNDS HEAVIER (135)–GOOOOOO ME!!

Got home a little before 5 pm. SO GLAD to be off now!! Had a party in 3rd but I did good & didn’t eat anything (just had my regular lunch). Had a former student come to see me & she kept saying how skinny I am–that felt great!!
I’m gonna try to eat as clean as I can over the TG holidays–time off is always a great time for me to lose. Plus, I know there will be lots of party food over the Christmas holidays.
Two things I really want to do–see New Moon & get these jacked up nails done!
Need to keep up the z & calla workouts, too–keep it firm!!

Rawr! Ok, so today was kind of draggy & boring, but tomorrow is the last day this week!!! YAY!!
Ate clean & got to 128! Just did a z workout for 30 min & I feel much better!!
I’m so excited about the holidays & being off work.
Made a lc broc chicken casserole tonight–yummy!
That’s about it!

 

Whew! November 22, 2009

Friday was good, but I was still tired. Ate 1/2 a quesadilla & a chicken finger (grilled) & then had some smoked sausage at night. No sweets except 1/2 pk m&ms at work. Spent fri night getting yard sale crap out.
Sat. was so busy. Ate bacon, eggs, cheese. Then had some finger food stuff at Cecil’s. Had about 3 chips & dip, 2 fried pickle spears, some peppers w/bacon & cream cheese & the frosting off a piece of cake.
Now it’s Sunday & I am really worn out. Slept great last night. Slept late today. Finally have my dining room back.
I’m ready for the calm & relaxation of the holidays. Have to work Mon & Tues (late, too) but after that I am home free!!
Haven’t done much exercise this week. I need to get back to Calla & Zumba about 3 times a week. I can tell I’m getting squishy in some places.
Weight is around 129.5 this morning. :)

TGIT!!! It’s cold out here, but I’m ready for the day! BD is tonight so that will be fun!
Didn’t cave in to sweets last night–so yay!! :)
ETA: Had a good day–tired, but good.
BD class was small-only 3 of us showed. I hate not getting all that I can out of it. I always look forward to it so much.
Had the wings & such tonight. Ate clean earlier except for a mini snickers & 1/2 pack peanut m&ms. I don’t know what it is about work in the winter that makes me crave sweets.
Friday is tomorrow thank effin g!!

OK, so I didn’t look it, but I felt much better today! I was boned tired when I came home, but I ate clean today save for a few bites of dressing & a mini kit-kat–but that was good considering they gave me a full-on tg dinner at work!
I am going to be soooo glad when this week is over. The long days til 5 are just wiping this ol’ gal out. But the weekend is almost here. Yard sale & finally getting all this crap out of the house. That will feel good.
And a nice, hot bath will feel good, too. I’m NOT going to pig out on sweets tonight. I’m gonna drink some ACV with water & get into bed!
Maybe, just maybe I’ll do some calla. I needed to do a z workout today, but I am too tired.
Ate: 2 fried eggs, mayo, tomato, cheese, bacon; 2 bites dressing, 2 bites sweet potato cass, cauliflower, chicken salad, cream cheese & rotel, green beans; mini kit-kat
I gained–am at 130. Can’t give up, though!

God, I am so tired. No planning & worked til 5 today again. Am bloated from the P. Ate clean today EXCEPT the two mini butterfingers at 2 pm. That is such a no-no. I hate this working late. My schedule is all off & the sweets cravings are just awful. I should take some peanut butter & vco to work. Maybe that will help.

I am going to be so happy when the holidays come. I’m trying to take each moment as it comes, but it’s hard.
At least I’ll have some money for Xmas. At least I’ve got a good idea of what lessons I’m doing. At least I have an awesome husband who understands. And a great kid, too!
OK, staaaay positive!!!
Ate: cream cheese/rotel dip, chicken salad, cauliflower, 4 chicken wings w/horsey sauce, 2 mini butterfingers

Thurs-still felt a little rough, but worked. Went to bd class and did pretty good.
Friday-had a good day
Sat.-had a great day, did a z workout & then ate like a pig!
Sun.-remodding a room put me in a pig out–again!
Monday–today–sore & tired, but I did a z workout. Worked late for extra cash. House is a wreck, but yard sale is Saturday (thank god).
Ate clean today except for a brownie at work. Finally semi-started the ol period. Not sure why I’ve been prone to sweet pigouts lately, but it needs to stop. Am going to make lunch stuff in a minute. This week is hella busy, but it’s a good chance to practice patience. If I can hold on til Sat., it will be aaaaall right. Eating clean & working out will help.
Don’t eat the sweets!! I know I’ve gained a good 5 pounds. I can’t let the holidays get the best of me!

 

Wednesday-Vet’s Day November 11, 2009

This break could not have come at a better time. First, I am sick. Respiratory, sinus, coughing, fever, sweats–ugh.
Second, I’ve gone to work sick the last two days & pushed myself, so I’m stressed and sick. Third, I’ve eaten atrociously and haven’t worked out in 3 days.
I guess it was bound to happen. I don’t even want to know how much I’ve gained.
Not defeated, though–just down. Today is a perfect day to start over. It will likely take me a good week or two to get back on track weight wise, but that’s just what I have to do.
No scale for me until Sunday.
I have a super busy week ahead of me next week–and the next one, too. So, it’d best to get it in gear now!
I think I’ll just take it easy today–maybe get a light workout in. I’m going to plan some sample menus, too–so I don’t get stuck with the munchies!!
ETA: Slept for about 4 hours today. took thera flu so I feel a bit better. Coughing spells still hit me. Didn’t work out but that’s ok–I needed rest.
Ate some slaw, cauli cass, & chicken salad a while ago to get food in me. I might try to make some egg drop soup for tomorrow.

Yay! Had a good but stressful week! BD was great on Thursday (which was my most stressful day)–I felt so great afterward. Friday was awesome-took a break from exercise & had my fave restaurant tortilla chips & queso for dinner! Not good carb wise, but it’s exactly what I wanted.
Today I got in a good Zumba & calla workout & DH & DK worked out, too!
Haven’t checked my weight today. I’m gonna give it a rest for a few days & just go by how my clothes feel. My abs are toning up really well & my thighs are getting solid thanks to all those squats at bd!!
Baking a cake for hubby’s bday today. Weather is beautiful. :)
Ex: Zumba 25 minutes, bd 10 minutes, Calla abs, hips & plies

Had a really good day! Felt good, but got kinda sleepy this afternoon around noon!
Took off for a jog/walk around track for about 30 minutes. Then, came home & did Zumba & bd for 30 minutes.
I just loooove that stuff!
I’ve gained a pound-up to 129. But my pants fit so loose today. I don’t know–I kind of like this weight range. Not skinny, but not fat, either.
Oh, well! As long as my clothes fit ok & I’m toned, I should be happy!! :)

Let’s rock today! Feel good this morning again! Nice & cold out here!
Breathe & have compassion today–don’t stress over the small stuff. The sun always rises!
I kind of have a long day ahead, but it will be ok! Got a good lunch packed, got my tennis shoes for after work–all set! :)
Weight-128 (that’s ok, too! Slowly, but surely!).
ETA: Did ok til I ate a pack of M&Ms, a donut stick, a bowl of mac & cheese & a pack of Swiss rolls!! WTF???
Soooo, I’m thinking that I’ve tried to stay on induction too long. I do induction, but wind up cheating a few times a week. Think I’d do better to do a steadier maintenance plan. Hmmmm.
And why do I always eat more when I exercise??? Oh, well–gotta hop back on this wagon.

Beautiful day today!!! Cool & super sunny!! Woke up feeling great! This DST is the one I like!
Made some really good soup today (tomato/spinach) and got my workout room all cleaned up & organized.
DH cooked a great breakfast this morning, too.
Yesterday’s workout was so much fun and went by so fast.
Stayed up really late last night, but I woke up so nicely.
Might go for a good walk today since it’s so pretty.
Need to iron my clothes and get some stuff made for lunch.
We have a holiday coming up soon, so yay!!
ETA: Walked around cemetery w/DH, DK & DDog! Such a nice afternoon!
